Abstract:
A descriptive quantitative design is used to evaluate patients' satisfaction with
health care services provided in Imam Hussein Medical City in the holy city of
Karbala. "This study was carried out to achieve the stated goals: The study
began from 10/7/2018 to 27/5 / 2019. A prospective sample of (207) patients
residing in Imam Hussein Medical City. The reliability of the questionnaire was
determined by the experimental study and the alpha-cronbach coefficient was
calculated. And validity identified through a committee of (5) experts. The data
of this study were analyzed through the use of a statistical package for social
sciences (SPSS) version (20). Statistical analysis methods were used (analysis of
metadata, frequencies (f), percentages (%), mean scores( This study shows that
the majority of the study sample is male. Most of the study sample is over 45
years of age. In addition to the fact that the majority of the study sample is
married, most of the study sample is primary school In addition to most of the
study sample is a free profession, most sample live study city and most study
sample barely enough monthly income. According to the results of the study,
patients showed satisfactory general satisfaction with health care services. There
were no statistically significant differences between the social and demographic
characteristics of the patients and the level of patient satisfaction with the
provided health care services. This study recommends providing the hospital
with everything it needs to provide integrated health care and increase
information support as patients see it positively. Satisfaction with care and
emphasis on the need to constantly focus on communication skills in the
teaching of nurses and the doctor and the need for each employee to know how
to deal with customer complaints and concerns Further studies on patients'
satisfaction with health care provided at other hospitals in Iraq should be
completed
