The Training and Research Unit in the Medical City of Imam Al-Hussein, peace be upon him, participated with the assistant teacher, Shahd Sabah Khudair, a teacher in the College of Nursing, with a scientific lecture on diabetes mellitus for the nursing staff, in which she touched on several axes, including the definition of diabetes, its types, and causes. It showed the risk factors for diabetes, how to diagnose the signs and symptoms associated with diabetes, and the complications resulting from it. It also touched on how to take care of patients with diabetes. The course was held in the Al-Batiniya Hall in Imam Al-Hussein Medical City; peace be upon him in the presence of the hospital’s nursing staff.
