All participants were interviewed and informed about the study
purposes and objectives

      A non-probability (purposive) sample is (52) of nursing staff. The
number of nursing staff included in the study criteria was (43), (26) males
and (17) were females.

And (14) of nursing staff were included in the pilot study, and (4) of nursing
staff refused to participate in the study.

       Statistical data analysis the data of the present study were analyzed
through the use of statistical package of social sciences (SPSS) version (20).

Result

      The result show that most of nursing staff are male and within the age
23 and more, and the level of education is nursing collage, and most of them
their years of services is 5 years and less in hospital and in Karbala center
for cardiac disease and surgery. Nursing staff have high knowledge about
management for patient with atrial fibrillation. And there is no effect of
demographic characteristic on nursing staff knowledge

Recommendation

1. Provide poster and folder about basic life support training (CPR, DC
Shock, and Mechanical ventilator)

2. Carrying out additional studies about barrier that prevent nursing staff
from develop their knowledge

3. Advising the researchers for conducting other research on larger
population to confirm result
