ABSTRACT

a descriptive study is conducted from December1st to Jun 20th , 2019 to
assess level of stress among hemodialysis patient's care givers at AL-
Hussein medical city in holy Kerbala .

   A non-probability sample of 100 patients care givers selected from
hemodialysis unit in AL-Hussian medial city in Kerbala. Data was
selected through use of questionnaire for assess level of stress. The
questionnaire is consist of three parts, and contain 28 items, first part
consist of demographic data include age, gender, educational level,
family income, occupation. Second part include psychological factors
and contain 11 items third part include stress scale and consist of 10
items .Reliability is determined using Alpha correlation (cronbach's
Alpha) and validity is achieved through panel of(5) expert . Data analysis
through using statistical package of social science (SPSS, Version 22).

    The result of the study indicate that level of stress was between low
and moderate and there is no significant relationship between the level of
stress and demographic characteristic of the sample of age, gender,
monthly income ,marital status , educational level ,and occupation.

      The study concluded that the level of stress of the samples was
between low and moderate this mean that care givers have high level of
resilience and coping for stressors ,and the level of stress does not
affected by the factors of age, gender, monthly income ,marital status ,
educational level ,and occupation.
