Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saidi, President of the University, inaugurated a number of new projects implemented by the College for the current year. He was received by Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Al-Juboori, Dean of the College of Nursing, and Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Faris, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and a number of heads of scientific Departments , and he was accompanied by the President of the University. Prof. Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri, the assistant president of the university for administrative affairs, Dr. Riyad Dhaihoud, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Khazali, Dean of the College of Pharmacy. During the opening, the President was briefed on the projects implemented in the college of Nursing during the current year, which included the development of gardens, the replacement of the College’s floor and the creation of furnished classrooms for students Postgraduate studies, the guest house, the education system, electronic exams, and the opening of a number of scientific laboratories. In the same context, Mr. Hussein Ali Mahdi, Director of the Electronic Calculator Division, and Mr. Bilal Saad, presented to the President of the University a detailed explanation of the stages of developing e-learning and conducting electronic exams for students and for all levels of morning and evening studies , according to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research until it reached advanced stages that keep pace with the great and tremendous development in modern areas of communication.
