Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing, and the follow-up of Assistant Prof. Dr. Salman Hussein Faris, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and the supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Ghazwan Abdel-Hussein Abdel-Wahed and Instructor Dr. Hakki Ismail Mansour, the Community Health Branch of the College of Nursing at Karbala University organized a scientific field visit for its students to Veterinary Hospital. The visit aims to increase health awareness and identify common and transmissible diseases that affect humans and animals that can affect human health and the health care services provided by the hospital. The visit included an explanation of several medical services provided by the hospital and how to care for pets and control diseases spread among them. The importance of vaccinations and how to prevent infectious diseases transmitted between animals and humans was also discussed. For their part, the students expressed their thanks and gratitude to the supervisors and organizers of the visit and their obtaining medical information that contributes to increasing scientific knowledge.
