Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Faris Al-Guraiti, Dean of the College of Nursing, and with the follow-up and participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Abdullah Athbi Al-Maliki, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, and Professor Dr. Fatima Makki Mahmoud, Head of the Adult Nursing Branch. Fourth stage students took the final practical exam for the critical care nursing course for the first semester on Thursday, January 4, 2024. The exam was conducted in clinical simulation laboratories using training dummies and using the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) method. The exam included sixteen clinical stations. Of these stations, an exam station concerned with performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation for patients with cardiac and respiratory arrest, how to deal with imbalance syndrome associated with hemodialysis, nursing interventions for complications resulting from chemotherapy, and some stations that are carried out from another station that include priority nursing procedures and some Nursing interventions to care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, as well as dealing with emergency cases, triaging injuries, and other nursing procedures.
