Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Fares Al-Guraiti, and the follow-up of the Assistants to the Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs at the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala. The Agricultural Unit of the Diwan Division at the college organized a volunteer campaign to plant seedlings and seasonal plants coinciding with National Afforestation Day. A number of students and members of the college, including faculty and staff, participated in the campaign, under the supervision of agricultural engineer Sahar Muslim Hadi, agricultural engineer Zamzam Othman Fakher, and agricultural engineer Nour Ali Hussein. The campaign included hanging a number of awareness posters and posting them inside and outside the college building to spread environmental awareness among students.
