The Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Fares Al-Guraiti, participated in the ceremony honoring the female students who won the Alloys of Thought competition in its third edition. The honoring ceremony was attended by the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, the representative of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Fayez Taha, and a number of college deans and university professors. It is worth mentioning the three winning students in the competition from the College of Nursing, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports allocated sums of money to the winners of the first three places in the competition fields, which were distributed in the fields of poetry, essay, and short stories, while honoring the competition participants. It is noteworthy that the competition focused on issues that concern women and contribute to improving their reality, in addition to discovering the artistic talents of female students and providing them with support, especially since it was launched in conjunction with Women’s Day and International Creativity Day.
