Biological, Radiological and Nuclear( SMC )Safety and Security and the Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) of the US Department of Defense, and in cooperation with the Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP), a grant project is being implemented to rehabilitate biological laboratories at the University of Kerbala, which includes three important stages : 1- Evaluation and basic designs stage . 2- The training stage for the teams working in these laboratories. 3- The stage of physical renovations (construction and restoration of laboratories), modernization and equipping of equipment. Where the team of the executing company visited the place the accompanied by the coordinator of the Ministerial Committee SMC, Assistant Prof. Dr. Baqer Al-Ardhi and the President of University of kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, then they inspected the biological laboratories in the faculties of the medical group, veterinary medicine and education for pure sciences at the University of Kerbala for the purpose of conducting the necessary evaluation before implementing the grant.
