Conclusion of the training course on pediatric basic life support and urinary catheterization held by the College of Nursing

 On Thursday, 17/06/2021, the training course held by our college for basic nursing and pediatric nursing on pediatric and adult basic life support and urinary catheterization, according to the training plan of the two branches for the academic year 2020/2021, for a period of five days, targeted a group of nursing staff working in health institutions affiliated of The Holy Kerbala. The course curriculum on the first day included a theoretical lecture on the anatomy and physiology of the heart and blood circulation of the fetus and its difference from adults and neonatal resuscitation The second day included theoretical lectures on adult resuscitation and BLS training. The third day included theoretical lectures on urinary catheterization for adults and children. The fourth day included practical training on urinary catheterization.. Fifthly, those included in the course underwent practical and theoretical exams on the topics of the training course, and at its conclusion, Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College and heads of the branchs Fundamentals of Nursing and Pediatric Nursing, distributed certificates of participation to the participants.
