Under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Al-Juboori, a scientific symposium on COVID_19 was carried out for children with renal symmetry on Sunday, 29/8/2021, presented by Assistant Dr. Zaki Sabah Musaib, the target group was the students, teachers and staff of the College of Nursing Where the lecturer mentioned the definition of the disease and the number of total infections with the virus, which exceeded 216 million infected, the number of children of whom was more than 5 million children. The lecturer also mentioned that children suffering from renal symmetry diseases are more likely to be admitted to hospital and critical units, as they are taking immunosuppressive treatments. The researcher also mentioned the importance of preventing the virus by wearing masks and staying away from crowds, as well as washing hands and not touching the mouth, nose and eyes except after washing hands with soap and water for one minute, and also the need to use sterile materials while leaving the house and the correct way of sneezing, as well as the importance of Take vaccinations from the categories allowed to take the vaccine to reduce infections.
