The College of Nursing / University of Kerbala holds a scientific course on diabetes mellitus

Under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Al-Juboori, Dean of the College of Nursing / University of Kerbala, our college held an attendance course on diabetes and how to avoid infection and reduce its risk for a period of three days for the period from 29-31/8/ 2021, where the first day included an introduction to the disease and its signs and symptoms presented by the teacher Ali Jabbar Al musawi, As for the second day, it included the types of the disease and the risk factors that lead to its infection and the most important complications presented by the administrative assistant in the college, the assistant professor Dr. Fatima Makki Mahmoud. The third day included the importance of the methods used to control diabetes mellitus and reduce its complications by using pharmaceutical methods and lifestyle modification, in addition to Procedures that must be followed by people at risk of developing diabetes, including eating healthy food, exercise and physical activity, reducing weight, refraining from smoking, as well as continuous monitoring of blood sugar levels, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Abdullah Athbi, Head of the Adult Nursing Department , noting that The target group is teachers, staff and students of the college.
