The College of Nursing at the University of Kerbala held a course on family planning and early detection of breast cancer for three days, which included teachers and female employees of the college. The course aimed to learn about family planning methods and their importance, presented by the teacher, Dr. Sajida Saadoun Alawi, Head of the Maternal and Newborn Nursing department . The course also included early detection of breast cancer, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Fatima Makki Mahmoud, Associate Dean for Administrative and Teaching Affairs in the Adult Nursing department , and at the conclusion of the course, Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Al-Juboori, Dean of the College, praised the efforts made by the lecturers and stressed the importance of the college being proactive in raising the scientific and cultural level of its members through such courses.
