.Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, President of University of Kerbala , and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Al-Juboori, Dean of the College of Nursing, the Student Activities Division and the Registration and Student Affairs Division in our colleges, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the University of Kerbala, conducted an art competition for poetry, calligraphy and drawing among the students of University of Kerbala, During the competition, which began with the recitation of a verse from the Holy Quran, the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, the national anthem was played and the speech of the Dean of the College. The contestants presented their artistic activities represented by reciting poems of free and popular poetry, expressive artistic paintings, in addition to manuscripts of all kinds of Arabic calligraphy. The assistant teacher, Mustafa Karim Mashtat, who supervised the Judgement comity composed of a number of teachers , each according to his specialization, Mr. Amjad Jassem as a referee for calligraphy arts, Mr. Mortada Muhammad Hadid as a referee for the art of drawing, and Mr. Ali Hamid Majeed as a referee for poetry; This is the first competition of its kind organized by the College of Nursing for this academic year, but it is not the last; The committee has identified three winners for each of the participating arts.
