Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Al-Juboori, the College of Nursing / Student Activities Division organized a Quranic competition on the hall of the martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis in the college. The competition took place in the presence of the jury composed of Mr. Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Faris, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Fatima Makki Mahmoud, Dr. Salem Jarry, a teaching assistant at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Kerbala, and the reciter Hajj Ali Al Kaabi from the Hussainiya Holy Shrine, and the competition began by reciting a verse from the Holy Quran And the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of our heroic martyrs and a welcoming speech for the Dean of the College, in which he expressed his overwhelming pleasure in holding such activities. The competition was held to select four winners from among the competing students from the morning and evening studies and for all stages according to the regulations established by the committee in advance.
