Ruqayya Ali Jafit, one of the students of the College of Nursing at the University of Kerbala, won the second place in the Holy Qur’an recitation competition, which was held in the chapel of the Islamic University in the holy city of Najaf, with the participation of 40 students from more than 15 Iraqi universities from different governorates of our beloved Iraq. The students competed for the first three places , This national competition is the first of its kind at the level of universities, and its effectiveness coincided with the auspicious birth of Lady Fatima Al-Ma’sumah (peace be upon her). At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University, the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, his assistant and the representative of the Kufa Mosque Secretariat presented certificates of appreciation, shields and gifts to the three winners for each paragraph, which are precious gold bars in appreciation and gratitude from the Islamic University to the female students and to encourage our daughters, dear ones to the culture of the Qur’an and adherence to it.The Deanship of the College of Nursing represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Khudhair, expressed the great joy and pleasure in this victory achieved by the student and that it is a cause for pride . We ask God to protect our students and fulfill their wishes so that they can comfort our eyes and the eyes of their families with success and excellence. It is worth noting that all the participants and winners of the competition who will participate in the competition that will be held on the day of the Great Eid al-Ghadir in the city of Imam Redha (peace be upon him), Mashhad in cooperation with Al-Zahraa Women’s University in Tehran.
