Head of the Basic Sciences Department at the College of Nursing participates in the discussion of a master’s thesis on neonatal pain care

 Dr. Zaki Sabah Musaib, Head of the Basic Sciences department at the College of Nursing at the University of Kerbala, participated as a member of the discussion committee for the master’s thesis of the student (Esraa Faisal Abbas), a postgraduate student at the College of Nursing at University of Kerbala for the academic year 2020-2021, about her thesis tagged “The effectiveness of the educational program on nurses’ knowledge of what is Concerning neonatal pain care, which is part of the requirements for obtaining a master’s degree in nursing sciences. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational program on nurses’ knowledge regarding neonatal pain care. The results of the study indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the periods preceding the program. After applying the educational program, the study concluded that the majority of the participating nurses were female, school nursing, and did not participate in training courses on neonatal pain care, and their experience was less than five years, and the high percentage was from 20-29 years, and the program led to an improvement It is clear in the nurses’ knowledge regarding how to manage newborn mothers after applying the educational program, and the researcher recommended in her letter that the newborn mother should be included An introduction to nursing curricula for all educational levels.
