 The Basic Sciences Department at the College of Nursing at the University of Kerbala announced the conclusion of the training course, which was held in attendance on 8/16/2022 and for several days, entitled “Food poisoning by pathological microorganisms and their physiological impact on the digestive system” in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division at the College of Nursing with the participation of a number of teachers and staff On its closing day, the lecture dealt with the definition of food poisoning, also known as a foodborne illness, an illness caused by eating contaminated food. Infectious germs, including bacteria, viruses and parasites, or their toxins are the most common cause of food poisoning, indicating that infectious germs and their toxins can contaminate food at any stage of processing or production. Contamination can also occur in the home if food is improperly prepared or cooked.
