Lecturer from the University of London visits the University of Karbala.

The College of Nursing at the University of Karbala received the assistant Prof. Dr. “Annie Shamsi,” specializing in Clinical Psychology at the University of London and the accompanying delegation. During her visit to the college, the doctor presented a scientific lecture entitled Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychiatric Patients, a common type of psychotherapy that focuses on changing behavior by changing knowledge. Cognitive behavioral therapy can be a handy tool on its own or in combination with other treatments in treating mental and mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety. The lecture has attended by several college professors, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
