Under the guidance of Professor Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at Karbala University, and the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Fares, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Nursing, Eng. M. Shorouq Haider Diab, responsible for the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Nursing, in the course of preparing business innovation trainers, which was held in cooperation with the Al-Ula Organization in the Department of Labor and Vocational Training in Karbala, in preparation for work in the “Leadership” initiative launched by the Honorable Prime Minister. Its aim is to train the officials of the rehabilitation units to become qualified trainers by training the students enrolled in the “entrepreneurship course” and qualifying them on how to prepare a project development plan and participate within the Karbala Projects initiative to select the ten best projects. The Division of Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up recently held a meeting in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology in the presence of Prof. Dr. Najm Abdel-Hussein Najm, Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs and the Chairman and members of the “Karbala Project” Committee for the purpose of setting appropriate mechanisms, conditions and criteria for projects that will be received by students of the final stages and graduates During the meeting, the members of the committee were urged to follow up on the projects that will be presented to the initiative, and urged the colleges to hold an entrepreneurship course in each college for the purpose of educating students and graduates about the presence of a serious government approach to the necessity of activating the role of the private sector in order to provide job opportunities for graduates, maximize resources and develop the country’s economy.
