A delegation from the Iranian Azadi University visits the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Karbala Today, Thursday, May 4, 2023, Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, received an official delegation from Azadi University in the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the visit, they reviewed the classrooms and scientific laboratories, and met with graduate students and technicians in the laboratories, in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Fares Al-Ghariti, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Nursing, and a number of heads of scientific branches and teaching staff. The aim of the visit is to exchange experiences between the University of Karbala and Azadi University in the field of nursing sciences, supervising scientific research, supervising professors on student research, and benefiting from the curricula of both countries. The visit included an initial agreement on joint cooperation between the Faculty of Nursing at Karbala University and the Iranian Azadi University, pending official approvals by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It is noteworthy that the visiting delegation met previously with Prof. Dr. Najm Abd al-Hussein Najm, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and they discussed the mechanism of cooperation between the two universities, which contributes to raising the scientific and technical level of students in both neighboring countries.
