In the College of Nursing at the University of Mosul, the ninth session of the Council of Deans of Nursing Colleges was held, headed by Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Nursing Colleges in Iraq, in the presence of the Deans of Nursing Colleges, The session dealt with several issues including the discussion of the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the decisions of the Deans’ Committee in the eighth session.The Deans’ Committee in the eighth session also discussed the inclusion of the seven scientific branches in the nursing colleges within the administrative structure of the colleges for organizational purposes, and the topic of annual and final pursuit degrees for academic subjects was discussed.
As well as, during the meeting, the number of units for some subjects in the curricula of nursing colleges was reconsidered and the ministerial assessment exams were prepared in all colleges, with a date and place for the next meeting of the committee and deliberations on other topics.
