 The College of Nursing at the University of Kerbala discusses the first master’s thesis for its students In the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and postgraduate Studies at the University of Kerbala, Prof. Najm Abdul-Hussein and the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Khudhair, the College of Nursing at the University of Kerbala discussed a master’s thesis tagged “the effect of prostration and coughing exercises on the level of shortness of breath, persistent cough and cardio-pulmonary indicators among patients Non-tutors infected with the Corona virus – 19” for the student (Haider Nawaf Abdul Ali), one of the graduate students at the College of Nursing at the University of Kerbala for the academic year 2020-2021. From October 25, 2021 to May 1, 2022, samples were selected using the systematic random method. The study sample included 60 patients, 30 of whom participated in an experimental group and 30 other patients as a control group. The study aimed to verify the effect of prostration and coughing exercises on the level of shortness of breath. Persistent cough and cardio-pulmonary effects among uninfected patients with the emerging coronavirus-19. The study recommended the necessity of performing the prostration position and coughing exercises one hour every four hours for intubated patients suffering from the emerging corona virus-19 who suffer from shortness of breath and persistent cough.
