The Basic Sciences Branch organizes a scientific symposium on “Some Gene Therapy Strategies for Cancer” Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, and the supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Salman Hussein Fares Al-Kariti, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies in the College of Nursing, and the follow-up of Dr. Zaki Sabah Musaihib, Head of the Basic Sciences Branch, and in cooperation with the Scientific Division of the College of Nursing. Today, Tuesday, May 25, 2023, the Basic Sciences Branch at the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala organized a scientific symposium entitled “Some Gene Therapy Strategies for Cancer,” in which the assistant teacher, Hussein Saadi Jawad, one of the branch’s teachers, lectured. The aim of the symposium is to identify the causes of cancer and some modern strategies used in the diagnosis and gene therapy of cancer. A number of faculty and staff at the college participated in the symposium, which was held in the presence of the Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandes Hall in the College of Nursing.
