The Adult Nursing Branch at the College of Nursing at Karbala University continues to implement the clinical practical training plan for students of the second stage in practical adult nursing in the operating rooms in the Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) Medical City. Assistant professor Dr. Ali Hassan Abdullah Athbi, the head of the adult nursing branch said that training plan includes training and necessary procedures for infection control in the operating room, how to do surgical washing and wearing personal protective equipment, as well as training them on the most important steps used in sterilizing surgical instruments, preparing the sterile field before the operation, the role of the nurse before the operation, and his role during the operation, during anesthesia and in the post-anesthesia stage.
