Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Fares Al-Guraiti, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, participated in the ceremony organized by the University of Karbala for Arab and foreign students accepted into the university’s colleges within the “Study in Iraq” initiative, in the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi, and Professor Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein Al-Janabi, Assistant to the University President for Affairs. Academic and Professor Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Deans of Colleges. A group of Arab and foreign students from various countries, most notably Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Nigeria, Iran, India, and Burkina Faso, participated in the ceremony. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched the Study in Iraq initiative with the aim of attracting international students to Iraqi universities and achieving knowledge and cultural exchange with countries around the world.
