Representing the University of Karbala…the Dean of the College of Nursing participates in the honoring ceremony for the poets who won the “Similar to the Mustafa” International Competition. Commissioned by the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, the Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Faris Al-Guraiti, participated as a representative of the University of Karbala in the honorary ceremony organized by the Holy Abbasid Shrine to honor the winning poets in the (Similar to the Mustafa) International Vertical Poetry Competition. This came within the activities of the competition organized by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs of the al-Abbas Holy Shrine, under the slogan (The Beauty of Kindness Never Ends), which was held at the al-Abbas Holy Shrine/Hall of Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him). (52) poems by poets from 10 Arab countries participated in the competition, and resulted in the victory of (10) poets from several Arab countries, including the organizing country, Iraq. The festival witnessed honoring the poets who won the first ten places, after they recited their winning poems in front of the attendees, with the exception of first place. Which was blocked in this version. The competition aims to create a high-level poetry competition. In order to explain the great merit and status of the likeness of Mustafa Ali the Great (peace be upon him), and to explain the great care that the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas Shrine has for everything related to increasing the poetic and literary wealth of the People of the House (peace be upon them).
