The College of Nursing organizes the National Tree Planting Day Festival The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala held the special festival for National Afforestation Day, which was launched by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani. The festival, which was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Fares, with the participation of the college’s teaching staff, employees, and a number of student volunteers, and in cooperation with the agricultural unit, aims to plant trees in the college’s gardens and increase green spaces. The campaign included planting a group of seasonal plants and permanent trees, furnishing the college gardens, and printing a group of awareness posters and hanging them inside and outside the college building to spread environmental awareness among students.
