Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Selman Hussain Faris Al-Kuraity, Dean of the College, the College of Nursing organized a scientific training course on pediatric palliative care. The course aimed to develop healthcare staff skills and emphasize the humanitarian aspect of medical care.
It covered the concept and importance of palliative care in improving the quality of life for children with chronic or terminal illnesses, focusing on pain management, symptom relief, and psychological and social support for the child and family. Participants actively engaged in discussions and highlighted the value of such courses in enhancing healthcare services for children.
