Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Selman Hussain Faris Al-Kuraity, Dean of the College, the College of Nursing organized an awareness training course on the risks of medication use during pregnancy.
The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Sajida Saadoun, with participation from Assistant Lecturer Ghada Ali Hashim. It covered the potential effects of certain medications on maternal and fetal health, the risks of unsupervised drug use, the importance of consulting a physician before taking any medication during pregnancy, and the classification of safe and unsafe drugs along with preventive measures to avoid health complications.
