College of Nursing Organizes Training Course: “Silent Viruses: How They Live with Us Unnoticed”

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Selman Hussain Faris Al-Kuraity, Dean of the College, the College of Nursing held a scientific training course titled “Silent Viruses: How They Live with Us Unnoticed” aimed at enhancing health and scientific awareness among students and staff.

The course was presented by Dr. Fatima Maki Mahmoud, who explained the concept of silent viruses, how they persist in the human body without clear symptoms, their potential health risks, and early detection methods. Assistant lecturers Samira Mohammed Saeed and Aqila Mohammed Hashim discussed transmission routes and preventive measures to reduce spread.

The instructors emphasized the importance of continuing such courses to promote health and preventive culture within the academic community.
