There was relation between educational status and knowledge of mothers
about prevention of anemia during pregnancy found Pregnant women who have
educational level of secondary and more, have adequate knowledge .The danger
thought that the pregnant women think that anemia is normal for them this makes
them do not care with their health and do not take attention to avoid anemia .
Recommendations:
1 _Introduce a paragraph in the consulting clinic in the women's and obstetrics
hospital by assigning a team and a section for guidance and health awareness to
the pregnant women. The risks of anemia during pregnancy and how to avoid it
is illustrated. 2_Use of a specially designed culturally-tailored nutrition
education intervention for pregnant women supplemented with follow-up
reminders can reduce the occurrence of gestational anemia. Such programs are
ultimately necessary in light of the high prevalence of gestational anemia in
developing countries. 3_teach women about the benefits of early and frequent
visit for primary health care Centre to check up Hb level and regular health
check up to iron level and folic acid distribution to pregnant women’s in
primary health care. 4_enhancing the quality of primary health care counseling
and promoting the knowledge of women about anemia are essential elements for
improving the awareness of anemia. 5_Hereford, health care center have to
consider incorporating health extension workers and social workers in order to
improve strong involvement in the dissemination of health information. 6_Use
of social media in the presentation of videos to clarify the risk of anemia in
pregnant women and how to avoid it .
