The Dean of the College of Nursing, University of Kerbala, participates in a workshop sponsored by the University of Kufa. The Dean of the College of Nursing and the Head of the Deans of Nursing Colleges in Iraq, Prof. Dr. Ali Kareem Khudair Al-Juboori, participated in a workshop sponsored by the University of Kufa in cooperation with the University of Al-Ameed entitled (Preparation of academic accreditation standards for nursing colleges in Iraq), where the participants discussed several axes, including the importance of strategic planning and its active and important role In the management of any institution, whether governmental or private, and the importance of e-governance in the conduct of the educational and administrative process in addition to the academic program and what the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aspires to in developing higher education in Iraq and advancing the level of students in keeping pace with developments witnessed by the world in all fields Including nursing sciences. The attendees also discussed the possibility of optimally investing human and financial resources, as they are among the basic pillars for implementing the strategic plan of any institution in order to serve the educational process at the lowest costs and with high quality. The workshop also addressed the role of external relations and its role in community service as the mediator that links between Citizens and institutions, and the workshop participants focused on the importance of Quality management and observance of international standards in quality management, which contributes to raising the level of evaluation of Iraqi universities. A number of teachers from various nursing colleges in Iraqi universities participated in the workshop. Al-Ameed University represented the private colleges. The University of Warith Al-Anbiya,University of Babylon , University of Kerbala , Muthanna, Basra, Maysan, Dhi Qar, Baghdad, Qadisiyah, and Kufa University, the sponsor of the workshop, participated in the workshop. The participants praised the great role of Professor Dr. Ali Kareem Khudair Al-Juboori, Dean of the College of Nursing / University of Kerbala and Chairman of the Council of Deans of Nursing colleges in Iraq, and his great efforts to develop nursing colleges in Iraq.
