In cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit The Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Branch organizes a scientific symposium on mental health. Under the direct guidance and supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at Karbala University, the Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Branch organized a scientific symposium in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the College of Nursing entitled “Mental Health and its Relationship to Academic Achievement” today, Tuesday 12/13/2022, for students The first stage was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Safi Dakhil Nawam, Head of the Fundamentals of Nursing Branch in the College of Nursing. The symposium dealt with several axes, the most important of which is the definition of mental health, the relationship of mental health to academic achievement, and the problems and effects of mental health on many areas in students’ lives, including physical and social impact, with friends and teachers. The symposium also dealt with the issue of poor concentration, lack of participation, and the lack of a clear study path for the student. The seminar was attended by students of the first stage, the morning study.
