The Adult Nursing Branch continues clinical training for its students in Imam Hussein (PBUH) Medical City Under the guidance of Professor Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, and the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Abdullah Athbi, Head of the Adult Nursing Branch, and the Branch Rapporteur, Assistant Lecturer Haneen Qahtan Abadi, and under the supervision of University Nurse Muslim Aqeel Issa, the Adult Nursing Branch of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala continues to implement the training plan Clinical study for second-stage students in adult nursing in the operating theaters of Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH) Medical City. The training aims within these halls on how students participate in surgical washing, how to prepare a sterile medical field, as well as prepare and sterilize tools, prepare the surgical site, as well as monitor the vital activities of the patient while giving general anesthesia. Dr. Hassan Abdullah, head of the branch, stated that students are trained on these procedures in the college laboratories in order to be prepared before starting to apply them in teaching hospitals.
