His Excellency, the Minister of Health, honors the Dean of the College of Nursing at Karbala University. His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Salih Al-Hasnawi, honored the Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, with the Shield of Creativity and Distinction for his outstanding efforts in improving the level of nursing services in health institutions and raising the level of graduates of nursing colleges from the scientific, skill and behavioral aspects. The honoring came in a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Iraqi Nursing Syndicate, on the occasion of International Nursing Day, in the presence of the advanced staff in the Ministry, the Vice-Chairman of the Health and Environment Committee, Dr. Muqdam Al-Jumaili, and a large group of nursing staff. On the sidelines of the celebration, a meeting was held with His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Moussawi, President of the Iraqi Nursing Syndicate, and several members of the Council of Deans of Nursing Faculties. During the meeting, they discussed some of the problems and obstacles facing the colleges of nursing related to practical training for students in health institutions and addressing the shortage of nursing staff by expediting the transfer of the services of holders of higher and preliminary bachelor’s degrees from the Ministry of Health to the colleges of nursing, according to the functional level and financial allocation, according to the previously agreed-upon names. His Excellency the Minister has expressed his full readiness to meet all needs to meet the needs of nursing colleges to consolidate nursing education and improve the scientific level of graduates of nursing colleges to improve the level of nursing services in health institutions.
