One of the teachers of the Basic Sciences Branch participates in the Committee for the Follow-up of Common Diseases in the Governorate Office Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, Assistant Lecturer Hussein Saadi Jawad, one of the teachers of the Basic Sciences Branch in the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, participated in the Committee for Follow-up of Common Diseases in Karbala Governorate, where the meeting dealt with the increasing incidence of foot and mouth disease as well as the increase in infection rates With hemorrhagic fever in Karbala governorate, where 59 human infections were recorded, including 21 confirmed infections with three deaths. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on applying preventive measures to animals susceptible to infection to limit the spread of the disease in the form of campaigns to fogging and spraying animals. Many health and environmental problems in the governorate were also discussed in the meeting. And appropriate solutions for it according to the available capabilities. It is mentioned that the committee discussed in its last meeting a number of health problems in the holy governorate of Karbala, the most important of which is presenting the situation and statistics of infection with hemorrhagic fever and Corona virus, and emphasizing the continuation of the preventive measures that have been confirmed by the local government and dealing with reflux cases.
