The College of Nursing at Karbala University organizes a scientific symposium on “Asthma” Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, and the follow-up of Assistant Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdullah Athbi, Head of the Adult Nursing Branch at the College of Nursing, the Adult Nursing Branch organized a scientific symposium on “Asthma” in cooperation with the Scientific Division today, Monday, May 8, 2023, in the presence of Prof. Assistant Dr. Fatima Makki Mahmoud, Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs in the College of Nursing, and the participation of a number of heads of scientific branches. The aim of the symposium is to introduce the symptoms of the disease and the steps to better control it and how to prevent it. The symposium included an introduction to the causes and symptoms of asthma, ways to reduce asthma attacks, how to determine its type, and the appropriate treatment for each disease. Assistant Professor Dr. Hossam Abbas Daoud and a number of researchers attended the symposium. The symposium was attended by the Deanship of the College of Nursing.
