The College of Nursing organizes a scientific symposium on the importance of medical “morpholino” in diagnosing and treating diseases Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala and the supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Salman Hussein Faris Al-Kariti, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies in the College of Nursing, and the follow-up of Dr. Zaki Sabah Musaihib, Head of the Basic Sciences Branch, and in cooperation with the Scientific Division of the College of Nursing. Today, Thursday, May 25, 2023, the Basic Sciences Branch at the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala organized a scientific symposium on the importance of the medical “morpholino” in diagnosing and treating diseases. Assistant Lecturer Hussein Saadi Jawad, one of the branch’s teachers, lectured. The aim of the symposium is to learn more about the new molecular techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The symposium included the identification of morpholino molecules, which is a nuclear substance made from an axis RNA molecule, and an explanation of its molecular and chemical composition, and a comparison between it and the DNA and RNA molecules inside the human cell. A number of faculty, staff and students participated in the symposium, which was held in the presence of the Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandes Hall in the College of Nursing.
