The Maternal and Newborn Nursing Branch holds a scientific symposium on health care before pregnancy and childbirth Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at Karbala University, and in cooperation with the Scientific Division in the college, the Maternal and Newborn Nursing Branch in the College of Nursing held today, Monday, May 15, 2023, an attending scientific symposium on “health care before pregnancy and childbirth.” Lecturer Dr. Sajida Saadoun Aliwi, Head of the Maternal and Newborn Nursing Branch at the College of Nursing, and Assistant Lecturer Shereen Oweez, one of the college’s teachers, lectured. Its aim is how to provide regular check-ups and health care that allows doctors and midwives to treat and prevent potential health problems during pregnancy and promote healthy lifestyles that benefit both mother and child.
