The College of Nursing at the University of Karbala participates in the first scientific conference at the University of Kufa Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ali Karim Khudair Al-Jubouri, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Khamis Bandar Obaid, Head of the Pediatric Nursing Branch in the College of Nursing, Assistant Lecturer Samira Saeed and Assistant Lecturer Shorouq Haider participated in the first scientific conference of the College of Nursing / University of Kufa in cooperation with Al-Tusi University College, which was held For the period from 10-11 May 2023 and under the slogan “Quality of Nursing Education in Iraq … Challenges and Advanced Strategies”. The conference aims to adopt nursing programs as a step towards the sobriety of nursing education in Iraq and for the purpose of sobrietying the academic outputs of nursing faculties, evaluating teaching strategies, evaluating the student’s role in the educational process, developing scientific research mechanisms in nursing, sobriety of theses and dissertations, and identifying the difficulties faced by clinical training. The conference included a discussion of modern strategies in nursing education, clinical practices in nursing, the focus of nursing scientific research, and the challenges facing nursing administrations in health institutions.
