The College of Nursing organizes a training course on caring for children with diabetes Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Salman Hussein Fares Al-Guraiti, and the follow-up of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Nursing, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit. The Basic Sciences Branch at the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala organized a training course on “Caring for Children with Type 1 Diabetes” with the participation of a group of researchers and specialists, in the presence of a number of teachers and employees. The course lasted for three days, in which Professor Dr. Khamis Bandar Obaid, Assistant Lecturer Hassan Saud Abdel Hussein, and Assistant Lecturer Alaa Mahdi Abdel Ali lectured. The participants discussed the necessity of cooperation and communication with the affected child to control the blood sugar level as much as possible and educate him and his family about the importance of following a healthy diet while participating in regular physical activities.
